President Jonathan Begs to be left out of the 2015 Race.

President Goodluck Jonathan has begged to be left alone to focus on delivering on his political promises to Nigerians, instead of being drawn into alleged 2015 moves.
In a statement today, his spokesman, Dr. Reuben Abati, refuted a newspaper report that a 21-member committee has been set up towards Jonathan’s 2015 campaign, saying that Mr. Jonathan has not yet taken a decision on whether or not he will seek re-election in 2015 and has therefore not mandated any individual, committee or organisation to start working on his behalf for the 2015 elections.“President Jonathan’s stated wish to be left alone to focus on delivering on his promise of good governance and national transformation without unnecessary distractions should be respected,” the statement said. “Political jobbers and their collaborators in the media should stop heating up the polity with baseless speculations and falsehoods revolving around imaginary plans and schemes by the Presidency for the 2015 elections.”

US CH-53 Super Stallion helicopter military helicopter crashes near North Korea border

A US military helicopter taking part in a joint South Korea-US drill crashed Tuesday near the North Korean border with 21 personnel on board. There were no fatalities.A statement put out by the US Forces in Korea said the CH-53 Super Stallion helicopter had “executed a hard landing” while on a routine flight operation in Cheolwon county, which touches on the border with North Korea.

10 killed as herdsmen, villagers clash in Delta state

A violent clash between villagers in the Ogume community in Delta state and suspected Fulani herdsmen has left at least 10 dead, reports have said.Vanguard reports that the villagers challenged the herdsmen who they claim allowed their cattle vandalise farmlands in the area.There was tension in the community, located in Ndokwa West local government area, following the clash on Saturday evening. A community leader told newsmen: “My community was invaded by Hausa herdsmen using AK 47 rifles and six people were killed while three persons still missing are believed to have been killed too. The most painful aspect was that all efforts to make the police to come to our rescue were abortive.”Police have confirmed the report and, as usual, promise that an investigation is ongoing.

Bomb explodes in Boston killing 3 injures several dozen people

Two bombs exploded in the crowded streets near the finish line of the Boston Marathon on Monday, killing at least three people and injuring more than 140 in a bloody scene of shattered glass and severed limbs that raised alarms that terrorists might have struck again in the U.S.A.
White House official speaking on condition of anonymity because the investigation was still unfolding said the attack was being treated as an act of terrorism.President Barack Obama vowed that those responsible will "feel the full weight of justice."As many as two unexploded bombs were also found near the end of the 26.2-mile course as part of what appeared to be a well-coordinated attack, but they were safely disarmed, according to a senior U.S. intelligence official, who also spoke on condition of anonymity because of the continuing investigation.

World most watched video Star PSY Launches new single "Gentleman" in Seoul

The South Korean rapper PSY who rose to international fame with his song and video Gangnam Style, has launched a new single at a live concert in his hometown of Seoul. More than 170,000 people watched online Psy performed Gentleman, which he hopes will emulate Gangnam Style – the most watched video on YouTube with more than 1.5bn hits. Psy's horse-riding dance has been imitated by thousands around the world.

NUCLEAR WAR!!! North Korea prepares to strike.

North Korea has issued a statement warning all foreigners to evacuate South Korea as peninsula edges closer to nuclear war. The UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon said during a visit to Rome that he had spoken to the Chinese leadership to try to calm tensions, and would discuss the issue with US President Barack Obama.'
The current level of tension is very dangerous, a small incident caused by miscalculation or misjudgement may create an uncontrollable situation,' Ki-moon said.
Meanwhile South Korean soldiers are redeploying to key areas to keep watch on North Korea, Japanese forces set up Patriot anti-missile defence systems in Tokyo as the threat level over a North Korea missile launch was raised, The United States and South Korea have raised their defense postures, as has Japan, which deployed PAC-3 missile interceptors in key locations around Tokyo. And Locklear said the U.S. military would be ready to strike back if provoked.

Just recently we learnt Ray J went and rocked a boat on the 5th of April, releasing a new song clearly directed at Kim Kardashian and Kanye. Too bad for Ray J, Kanye West and Kim are showing signs that they will not Give Ray J the much needed attention he wants.

Armed group ambush police boat in Yenagoa, kills 12 Police.

Militants have ambushed a police boat in the oil-producing Niger Delta region, leaving 12 officers dead, security officials said on Sunday. The ambush came days after the Movement for the Emancipation of the Niger Delta (MEND), the main delta militant group prior to a 2009 amnesty, threatened to restart attacks in retaliation for the jailing of leader Henry Okah by a South Africa.
